East Hawaii Region Annual Public Meeting  and Forum on Community Needs

The East Hawaii Regional Board of Directors of the Hawaii Health Systems Corporation (HHSC) is holding its annual Community meeting on Saturday, February 20 from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm at Hale Ho‛ola Hamakua’s Conference Room, located at 45-547 Plumeria Street in Honoka‛a. All Island residents are invited to attend.

The Board and Regional Administration will provide an overview of the operations and financial condition of all of the facilities, as well as a view toward the future. Members of the community are warmly welcomed to share their perspectives and concerns regarding access to health care services. 

“Personal conversations and dialogue with our community stakeholders is absolutely essential in helping guide the decisions that the Regional Board must make” said Kurt Corbin, Chair of the East Hawaii Regional Board of HHSC.

The East Hawaii Regional Board of Directors was created by the Hawaii State legislature under Act 290 in 2007.
