Brenda S. Ho, RN
HHSC Corporate Board Member
Brenda joined the Hawaii Healthcare System Corporation board as a representative of the East Hawaii Region after serving twice on the East Hawai’i Regional Board of HHSC from 2007-2014 and 2016-2023. Since 1990, she has been CEO of Hawai’i Care Choices, a hospice and palliative care provider. Brenda has a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from William Jewell College in Missouri and a Master’s Degree in Science with a specialty in Nursing Administration from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa. Her career began as a registered nurse and expanded into management and leadership roles. She serves on the Board of Kokua Mau, and she is a member of the Healthcare Association of Hawaii, National Partnership for Healthcare and Hospice Innovations, Coalition to Transform Advanced Care, Community Firsts East Hawai’i Regional Health Improvement Collaborative, and National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. Brenda is also active in multiple civic service organizations and professional associations.
